Welcome and thank you for visiting the Ron Waterman for Chief Justice web site.

When I announced my candidacy for Chief Justice of the Montana Supreme Court on March 19th, I did so believing that Montanans deserved a choice in one of the most important publicly elected offices in our State.

The Chief Justice is one of seven elected Justices and is the head of a Judicial Branch of government that has undergone enormous changes in the past decade. Montana itself is facing enormous challenges in the decade to come that will challenge our ability to preserve the diverse nature of our State. Now, more than ever, Montanans must have confidence in their courts and in the leadership and direction provided by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

I look forward to this campaign and the opportunity to share my concerns and visions about our Judicial System with Montana citizens.
